Please note we do not need blankets, coats or clothing at this time.

AAFO is looking for " knowers and doers" to join our team (we will even take movers and shakers!). We get a lot of different issues coming through the door at AAFO, including mental health issues, housing issues, parents looking for help with their children, etc. We are hoping to build a team of people that have a great knowledge of what or who might be available in our community; or who themselves, may be a professional who would like to donate a couple hours a week. We are looking for :

  • Any sort of professional

  • Anyone who has any counseling abilities

  • Anyone who has gone through a rough time, has "been there", and would like to help someone else through it

  • Anyone who has a great knowledge of resources available in the Okanagan

  • Anyone who has contacts they think might be helpful

  • Anyone who is outgoing and vibrant to seek corporate sponsorship

  • Anyone who would like to plan and coordinate events

If you think you might be interested in helping out in any of these areas, please feel free to message us =) Thank you to all the amazing people who give every day to help those less fortunate or struggling!
